My Uses and Setup

I love checking out other people's /uses pages to see the gear and tools behind their workflows. It's always inspiring.

My setup is super simple: MacBook, AirPods, and an iPhone. No extra peripherals, no monitors, just the essentials. That's what works best for me.

No external mouse has ever worked for me, the MacBook trackpad is just that good. I've tried a few mice, but honestly, the MacBook trackpad is so smooth and responsive that I always end up going back to it. Same goes for external keyboards.

I've also tried using an external monitor, but it made me feel a bit lost. I found myself constantly looking back and forth between the laptop and the monitor, which was disorienting. I prefer to keep everything on my MacBook screen, it's just easier for me to focus that way.

For web projects where design has to be pixel-perfect, I open tabs or windows side by side. It's easy on my eyes and helps me compare designs with implementation in real-time. While working on mobile apps, virtual simulators gets most of the work done. I can test on my iPhone when needed.

I can work from anywhere, from my desk, the couch, standing, or while traveling. I've worked from airports, flights, cafés, as long as there's Wi-Fi, I'm good. My setup is ultra-portable, and I love that freedom.

Along with my AirPods, I sometimes use a pair of headphones from Sony. For calls, walks, or light sessions, AirPods are perfect. For longer sessions and better sound quality, I switch to the Sony headphones. AirPods are convinient, Sony headphones are nice for longer sessions.

I don't need much to stay productive. Just me, my MacBook, and good headphones.

I don't list out specific hardware details, models of my devices, softwares I use, or IDE configurations because those change often (very often for me), but my core setup and workflow stay consistent.

Thanks for reading this far!
